Drive the car on the ramps. You can also use a hydraulic jack and jack stands if you prefer, if you do this you will need a BMW jack pad adapter.
Hope that helps someone someday. Kaile, the cap on the reservoir says "use CHF11S." I don't know the difference between this and regular power steering fluid, but I'll bet the reason they require the specific hydraulic fluid is because the reservoir supplies fluid to the suspension as well. (I may be mistaken there, just a thought).

The reason there is a greater oil capacity in the Xi is due to the altered geometry of the oil pan to accommodate the forward driven axles. Arthur John "Destroyer of Sleep".

After lifting the car: 1-Sprayed both of the bolts with anti greaser and dried them with a cloth. 2-Loosen the one on top as you recommended, (oil was coming in black colour). 3-Loosen the one below and drain all oil. 4-Then I loosen the front jack then both jacks to get the all oil out and tighten the below bolt. qLa1J9g.
