to open the cheat console use the tilda or grave key, it looks like this ~ its next to the "1" key and above the "Tab" key. if you need to change the key in any of the kingdoms campaigns for some reason you can follow this guide which goes over changing hidden key binds that sometimes don't show up/work in the options menu.
