It has a new batterytires.brake pads.cat back muffler . ecu unit .tranny fluid and filter.fuel filter.oil change.plugs and wires.igniter and coil. The price is 3400 with certification and etest. This works best if a) The car is pre-1992 (cats are not required for an MOT) b) If its an FI model as the ECU will probably cope with the change if not it can always be re-chipped. The cat is very restrictive and therefore takes energy, some of which is noise, out of the system and acts as a silencer.

This Evo II runs the larger, 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine from later in the 190E’s life. Here it develops around 240bhp, but the DTM racecars used the same engine tuned up to around 380bhp
